Desert Dwellings

I recently graduated from Brandeis University with degrees in Environmental Studies and Economics. I am interested in everything related to the environment, entrepreneurship, and Israel, and I am excited to explore my interests for the next ten months at the Arava Institute, which is located in Kibbutz Ketura in southern Israel. Although I will miss my family, friends, and American food (mostly Chick-fil-a) very much, I look forward to hiking in the desert, meeting students and interns from different cultures, and contributing to the important work at the Arava Institute.
